These inspiring eye-catching, customized statement fashion T-shirts were originally created while planning a Powerful Women's Tea Party, a favorite hobby I have nurtured over the years to celebrate the passion and accomplishments of powerful women. To leave a lasting impression, I wanted to provide my guests with a parting gift that was memorable, customizable and wearable. That’s when I thought of a T-shirt!
As a Jersey girl, I wanted the T-shirt to reflect the feeling of "home" — to become a conversation starter that represents who I am. All too often while growing up, I would hear women being referred to as “chicks” and I never really knew what it meant. Was “chick” a negative connotation or a term of endearment? Personally, I thought it was cute and catchy, so I decided to re-define the word and break it down to describe a woman in a positive way. A CHICK is someone who is Conscious. Hot. Intelligent. Classy and Kind. This was a perfect acronym to describe my guests. And what better way to personalize each gift than by adding where they were from? My guests loved the CHICK Tees! After a significant number of inquiries and positive feedback, I continued making customized CHICK Tees to celebrate womanhood as an outward tangible of self-expression. Behind every CHICK Tee is a fascinating story to be shared about who, what, when, where and how you want to be represented.
